GAP ANALYSIS

Gap analysis or Gap assessment or “Desktop Audit” is an objective evaluation method, where the existing arrangement or system in a company can be compared against the ISO or other specific standard requirements. Such assessment of conformance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, IATF 16949 or AS9100D criteria and scope, helps to identify the readiness or required resources for developing the effective & efficient system.
A Gap Analysis may become an exhaustive task, requiring conformance check to every clause of the standard. A thorough Gap Analysis includes verification of implementation along with great focus on review of required documentation and records (as referred to “Desktop Audits”). This whole process can be conducted easily with an expert help to assess the status of the existing management system, followed by subsequent implementation advise.
